Located
at the foothills of California's Sierra Nevada mountains, the Butte County
Sheriff's Office serves the communities of Oroville, Chico, Paradise, Gridley,
Biggs, and the unincorporated areas of the County. With a total County population
of approx. 200,000 people, the Sheriff's Office has a service population
of approx. 108,079. The Sheriff's Office provides patrol, investigative,
civil, coroner, court, and jail services for the resident's of Butte County.
