In the fall of 1994 I started high school at the one, the only, Biggs High School. (Really creative with these school names aren't they?!) Anyway, I'd been on the campus since 1992 being as B.H.S. and the middle school (B.M.S.) shared the same grounds, so at least I was familiar with my surroundings. I was fortunate enough to enter high school just after my sister had escaped so I never had the feeling of a big sister looking over my back, while at the same time, I didn't have a sibling to look up to during those 4 years of well, turmoil. High school overall wasn't a bad thing, there were ups and downs as there are with all things in life, but on a whole, it really was some of the best times of my life. When we weren't trying to skip out of pep rallys or class I was busy taking the usual classes like English and Math and of course, band. Yep, thats right, I was a band nerd. I'd played trumpet ever since fifth grade and high school was no time to stop. Music was a big part of growing up for me, and it still is. Whenever I feel down, or ecstatic, there's always a song that goes along with it.
So anyway, four years of high school, four great bandtrips, and four years of memories later, I was ready to move on up and out of Biggs High School!
