Sheriff's Posse

The Communication Reserve Unit is staffed by volunteer amature radio operators. These licensed "ham's" provide the Sheriff's Office with additional communications capabilities during emergencies and special functions. Members of the Communications Reserve Unit are not peace officers, and serve in a non-sworn support role.
